Experience

Vance joined David J. Frank in 2002 and has more than 20 years of experience in the green industry and is responsible for developing both client relationships and design ideas using state-of-the-art animated 3D landscape software. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional, which makes him uniquely qualified for projects that need to meet specific sustainable and environmental criteria, but he enjoys the creative challenges of creating custom home landscapes as well.

With all projects, Vance provides detailed  plans and estimates, purchases and coordinates the delivery of landscape materials, and supervises the entire project from start to finish.  Throughout the process, his goal is not simply to meet needs, but to exceed expectations while being fiscally and environmentally responsible.

“It is my responsibility to choreograph movement through and interaction with the indoor and outdoor environment.  This is accomplished through the restructuring of spatial dimensions, engaging the senses and directing the human experience. And to accomplish this, it is imperative to incorporate the amenities that create a safe and environmentally sensitive design solution.”
